The Washington Group Practice Owners Network sprung from a need for community, support, and information sharing about issues specific to Group Practices in our State.
Do you have questions about hiring? About what the heck is going on with insurance reimbursements? There are so many aspects of running a Group Practice - let’s learn and share together to improve our own experiences as well as improve the state of Mental Health Care in Washington State.
Community
Get access to a google group that will hold resources and conversations specific to our interests and needs. Want to find out how your peers are doing something? Have a new issue that you can’t figure out how solve? This is the place for support! Complete this quick questionnaire to get added to our community.
Training
Our intention is to hold 1-2 ethics or other related trainings every year. These will be pertinent to and specifically applicable to Group Practices in Washington State. To get on the email list and to provide feedback about the kind of training you’re interested in, click here.
The first training has been scheduled with Eric Strom on January 16, 2021! Mark your calendars now. (Will likely be virtual.) Actual cost dependent on how many registrants. Max cost $50 for 3 CEUs. Click here to register.
Who started WAGPON? Our names are Sara Baldwin (seaemdr.com), Jennifer Creson (proteawellness.org) and Angie Agelopoulos (seattlecounselingandwellness.com). We don’t consider ourselves experts by any means, but we value community and have benefitted greatly from those who have come before us and stand with us in this challenging but rewarding journey. Our goal here is to create the community for us all to learn together. We are merely creating the space and opportunity for connection, not trying to take on any particular responsibility regarding being experts or facilitating or moderating conversations. We are excited to be in community with you all!
